    Education
    Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience Required

    Experience
    Three (3) years in healthcare operations, coding/billing/revenue cycle, or information technology Required

    Responsibilities

    Job Summary
    The Quality Analyst will review and assesses quality and risk measures and provides communication and feedback with providers, payers, and partners. In addition, the Quality Analyst assists in the development of organization's risk strategy and develops specific tactics for successful implementation to improve risk scores.
    • Reviews and assesses quality and risk measures and provides communication and feedback with providers, payers, and partners. Coordinates various quality initiatives, analyses, and reporting
    • Assists in the coordination and management of the practice initiatives throughout the year and works with internal teams, practices, and payers to plan and implement the initiatives’ activities.
    • Assists in the development of education, communication and organization’s risk strategy and develops specific tactics for successful implementation to improve risk scores.
    • Assists in the development of education and communication content as appropriate.
    • Monitors, reviews, analyzes, and resolves Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) patient duplicate identifiers - Medical record numbers (MRNs) duplicates and other issues.
    • Provides input into development and implementation of project plans. Serves as a resource for quality and risk data and metrics.
    • Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed, and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis. Acts in a support capacity with billing-coding staff at practices to recommend coding and compliance updates and opportunities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
