    Qualifications

    Education
    Associate's Degree or 2 years' related experience in Business/Technology or related degree or two (2) years’ experience in software development. Required

    Experience
    3 years experience in web or database development. Required

    Responsibilities

    Job Summary
    The Applications Systems Engineer develops and supports ETL processes and User Interfaces. In addition, the Applications System Engineer will write code to produce fully functional software applications according to requirements.
    • Design, code, test, and implement integration software to ETL solution. Implement stored procedures and effectively query the database.
    • Design, code, test, and implement web pages, user interfaces, system interfaces and data deliverables using a variety of programming and scripting languages, applications, and systems.
    • Provide support and fix issues in the software implemented and supported by the organization.
    • Produce in-depth documentation of all development, policies and procedures.
    • Produces specialized reports/data. Analyzes data and reports for anomalies or indicators. Reviews report data and information trends to identify opportunities for improvement and pro-active resolution of deficiencies.
    • Participate in development planning sessions, weekly team status meetings and create/update appropriate project management documentation as required.
    • Maintain current knowledge in new and existing software to ensure productivity, capability, and return on investment.
    • Available for occasional off-hours emergencies.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
