    Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' related experience Information Management, Engineering or related field Required

    Experience
    10 years in Information Technology leadership roles in large integrated health network, multi- hospital and all disciplines of infrastructure management, data center operations, network architecture and service management. Required

    Job Summary
    The ASSOCIATE VP & CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER position partners with the SVP & CIO and the business leadership team in leading the overall technology direction for the organization, including the current and future technology architecture, evaluation, and transfer as well as the development of enterprise standards. Working closely with the business leadership team, the CTO influences technical and architectural aspects of enterprise-wide business decisions.

    This position has overall responsibility for managing current technology infrastructure planning and deployment to ensure the IT department delivers technology and products on schedule, on budget with the highest quality, while also providing future technology vision, enabling innovation and understanding the Information Technology trends that can create business value.
    • Overall responsibility for the planning, design and support of the organization core infrastructure technologies and enterprise architecture. Core elements include network, directory services, desktop and server engineering, messaging, and integration and application delivery.
    • Serve as a key member of the IT leadership team. Educate and work collaboratively with all members of the leadership team in order to facilitate informed IT decisions.
    • Overall responsibility for the planning, design and support of the organization core infrastructure technologies and enterprise architecture. Core elements include network, directory services, desktop and server engineering, messaging, and integration and application delivery.
    • Develops and communicates the necessary direction and policies for enterprise standards to ensure continuity of service.
    • Proactively keeps abreast of new technology trends and investment opportunities so that informed recommendations can be made in support of hospital’s business needs.
    • Stays current and knowledgeable in regard to government initiatives such as the HITECH Act, Meaningful Use and the Accountable Care Organization (ACO).
