    Job Summary
    The Director of Community Economic Development formulates and implements short term and long term economic and community development strategies to revitalize the neighborhoods surrounding HonorHealth medical center campuses primarily focusing in Phoenix. The position works with city government, industrial development authorities, businesses, school districts, partner organizations and community leaders to foster economic development opportunities that enhance and support the area surrounding the campus.
    • Develop and lead economic development strategies to revitalize neighborhoods and communities surrounding HonorHealth campuses in Phoenix.
    • Identify and advance collaborative working relationships with key economic development partners in city government, industrial development authorities, business, and education and community organizations.
    • Participate in community meetings, task forces and economic development groups that enhance and support revitalization efforts.
    • Maintain inventory of available development sites within the community and develop a working knowledge of City of Phoenix economic development, neighborhood services and planning departments programs and services.
    • Collaborate with HonorHealth strategy teams and Desert Mission leadership to coordinate work and programs.
