    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Nursing, Information Systems (IS), or related field; or four (4) years of related experience Required

    Experience
    2 years EMR Security experience; four (4) years of other IT experience. Required

    Responsibilities

    Job Summary
    The EMR Security Analyst will be responsible for EMR end user access provisioning, provider (SER) maintenance, support and administration of associated technologies and processes. The EMR Security Analyst will analyze, design, build, test, train, go live and production support of the Security related systems and processes. Recognizes and makes management aware of issues and potential problems related to EMR security and user provisioning, and demonstrates initiative in determining possible solutions. In addition, the EMR Security Analyst will participate in a support on-call rotation facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task.
    • Within EMR system, develops, manages, and maintains: standard security configurations, security classes and templates, security class ownership, provisioning of application security levels and roles. Perform daily systems EMR security administration functions, including managing customer access requests; creating, modifying and/or deleting user profiles and accounts; maintaining appropriate documentation; and monitors and audits access log files. Analyze, interpret and present audit findings into clear, concise reports. Ensure compliance with current and new security standards, and perform routine maintenance, logging, and troubleshooting of security management tools and processes. Keep security standard up to date with the latest releases, meet with all application team leads to decide on any new security updates, document decisions, configure, test and apply security changes to production. Represent the Security team in Change Control meetings, and be able to identify issues as they relate to Epic and associated clinical and information systems’ security.
    • Coordinates security-related activities and meetings with various internal partners (e.g. - Applications, Compliance, etc.) to design system-level access. Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing customer access problems; correct identified problem(s) and maintain appropriate documentation. Identifies and addresses customer needs while building a relationship and rapport with customers. Builds positive working relationships with team members, managers and all departments. Prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to needs of the customer. Proactively recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts in a timely manner to resolve issues. Advises their management of new opportunities to improve and enhance security functions and processes. Consultatively advises personnel regarding the functions of security access, and associated processes and technologies.
    • Completes IT Governance & IT project job assignments to ensure achievement of established project milestones.
