High School Diploma or GED Required
1 year HRIS Experience including data entry Required
This position provides both administrative and supportive functions to Human Resources and Staff. Performs new hire, job change, and personnel record maintenance. Updates information, processes changes and reviews data for accuracy. Applies organizational policies, regulations, internal processes and system requirements to workflow. Provides excellent customer service and may work with all levels of employees including management. Backup to other HRIS Specialist(s) during increased workload and absences.
- Processes all data for new hires and job changes. Interfaces with Recruitment, Compensation and the HRIS vendor to resolve problems and discrepancies.
Including; I-9 Reverification and License Reverification.
- Processes the following:
Updates vendors and other departments regarding name changes, job verifications, terminations, OIG and I-9s.
Responsible for ensuring accurate and complete employee records after termination. This includes auditing Ultipro, e-verify and UBS after notice of termination.
Assists staff members and former staff members via phone, email or in person by providing answers to questions and resolutions to problems which may be related to employee records.
Collects and distributes department mail on a daily basis.
Assists with maintaining the system organizational structure.
- Scans staff member documents, reviewing for accuracy and view ability, for attachment to staff member electronic record. These include both source documents used for Ultipro data entry, documents sent electronically from HR staff, and paper records sent to Compensation and Records after termination.
- Responds to all requests for non-routine employment verifications from both current and former employees, as well as external customers on behalf of HonorHealth employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
