8AM to 5PM M-F




As the first point of contact, this position greets and directs visitors to the appropriate personnel. Performs a variety of clerical and patient support duties including receptionist, telephone, scheduling, data input and billing.
Under the direction of a Physician/Physician Assistant, performs a variety of duties in connection with examination and treatment of patients in the physician practice care setting in a Patient Centered Medical Home Model of care. May be assigned to a specialist. Takes a pro-active approach utilizing available resources to best serve the patient population. Performs a variety of clerical support duties including receptionist, telephone, scheduling, message management and data input.
Demonstrates knowledge and skill to provide appropriate care needed in accordance with HonorHealth policies, procedures, and protocols and Arizona validated competencies. Works in a team model to improve the patient's experience, create better communication and access to care. Proactively identifies and supports processes that will improve and enhance patient satisfaction.
Performs in a manner consistent with the HonorHealth Mission statement by identifying and meeting the needs of all customers by demonstrating integrity, respect, caring, accountability and excellence. Reports to the Practice Manager or Supervisor and does not supervise any staff.

Position Qualifications
High School or GED
Completion of an approved MA training program as per BOMEX guidelines
CPR certification
One year experience in a medical office setting.
