    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduated from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution. Required

    5 years Experience in Perianesthesia or PAT Nurisng Required
    5 years Experience as a Nursing Director Required

    Licenses and Certifications
    Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
    Registered Nurse (RN) State And/Or Compact State Licensure Required


    Job Summary
    The Network Director-Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into all aspects of pre-procedural and pre-surgical patient optimization and engagement. In collaboration with multiple stakeholders, develops a network strategic vision for Pre-Admission Testing Services across all procedural and surgical areas. Directs standardization of Pre-Admission Testing procedures across the Network in support of the triple aim: high quality care in the most cost effective manner while providing an excellent patient experience. Serves as tactical point person in the network for all matters affecting and all efforts related to Pre-Admission Testing including: patient engagement, patient optimization, physician engagement, staff development, and workflow development. Provides leadership and infrastructure to foster a culture of innovation, efficient processes and excellent customer service. Serves as the network leader for all PAT departments in a matrixed manner with Senior Directors of Perioperative Services. Serves as member of Perioperative Collaborative.
    • Promotes and creates an infrastructure to support an environment of quality patient care, excellent patient experience, staff engagement, physician satisfaction and standardized processes in all PAT departments across the network. Leads and directs implementation of practice delivery systems, patient engagement and process improvement efforts. Fosters collaborative partnerships with medical providers, departments and members of the organization. Uses evidence-based knowledge in decision making to improve and maintain high-quality, cost-effective patient care. Collaborate with physician and clinical department leaders in the development of pre-admission testing protocols and pathways. Directs the standardization of PAT processes across the network. Partners with various HonorHealth stakeholders.
    • Serves as key point person and support for PAT services on Perioperative Collaborative and directs implementation of improvement efforts in PAT related to the Perioperative Collaborative and Service Lines.
    • Develops a strategic plan and scorecard for Network PAT services. Collaborate with variety of stakeholders in design, communication and implementation of plan across the organization. Partner with stakeholders in modification of patient care delivery systems, processes and infrastructure to promote quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    • In a matrixed manner with other Perioperative Services, leadership. ensures adequate staffing levels, develops standard onboarding tools and processes, manages staff performance, manages coaching and development of staff to ensure alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements. Partner with Senior Directors of Perioperative Services to develop departmental budget. Participates in the design and revision of the departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
