    High School Diploma or GED Required

    Two (2) in progressively responsible roles within in a physician practice, including experience in reception, scheduling and medical records Required

    Job Summary
    The SUPERVISOR-OFFICE plans, supervises and coordinates the activities of office administrative staff. This position will provide systems and develop programs to increase productivity and enhance client satisfaction. The Supervisor-Office will provide support through daily monitoring and staff involvement.
    • Supervises the activities of office personnel. Maintains a lead role in performing the tasks of those supervised. Plans, establishes, and revises work assignments and schedules. Assists in interviewing, selecting, and hiring personnel. Completes changes in classification, salary action, promotion, demotion, transfer, and termination. Administers performance evaluation in collaboration with the Practice Manager. Administers staff disciplinary process. Trains employees on practice management software.
    • Manage and assist with overall operation of the office with interaction from the Practice Manager to ensure standardization within the policies and procedures. Develop and maintain front office policies and procedures, informing staff of all updates or changes. Ensures functions in area of responsibility are completed accurately and appropriately. Ensures front office operations meet regulatory guidelines, equipment is in working order and appropriate inventory of supplies is maintained. Maintains physician’s schedules in practice management software.
    • Operates front office areas within budget guidelines and identifies opportunities in cost containment. Provides information and analysis to Practice Manager as needed.
    • Performs Registration and Scheduling duties as needed.
