Performs as a working lead and support for the staff. Assists staff in scheduling, pre-registration, deposit calculations, self-pay pricing and insurance verification. Serves as subject matter expert with current systems and processes within the department and interdepartmentally; with insurance benefits and authorization requirements; with self-pay and charity accounts.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years registration/financial counseling/patient account collections or equivalent with an emphasis on customer service.
