    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field Required

    Two (2) years coordinating, Project Specialist, and/or Project Management experience in an office work setting, in a clinical or healthcare setting. Required


    Job Summary
    The Academic Affairs Project Specialist is responsible for projects in coordination with Academic Affairs in support of organizational initiatives.
    In addition, the Academic Affairs Project Specialist will learn and utilize technology and software applications, collaborate with marketing, communications, information technology, medical, clinical, non-clinical, and management staff as well as outside vendors and stakeholders.

    • Serves and leads various committees for organizational initiatives and special projects to coordinate necessary operational workflows to meet targeted milestones. Acts as liaison with other areas of the institution as well as working with vendors and representatives of the community to build positive rapport of medical education. Escalate and resolve project issues.
    • Responsible for overseeing donations, grants, and other funding awards and required information for timely submission of new application, application amendments, and proposals. Write and prepare reports that detail performance, data analysis, budgeting and overall progress. Serves as a liaison with Foundation, departments, vendors, and external agencies to meet donor and grant requirements.
    • Support curriculum development and instructional design activities for simulation, faculty development, resident education, and others.
    • Creates resource guides and provides teaching/training in relation to new and existing I.T. platforms, software, simulation, and other related technologies. Assists in new product launches/system rollout.
    • Support in budgeting, accounts payable, contracts (vendor), simulation, faculty practice, space planning, event planning, staff onboarding, resident orientation, new innovations, CME manager, Blackboard, technology equipment, library online resources, reporting needs, etc. Ensures data integrity in technology/software applications related to assigned projects.
    • Monitor, maintain, and update communication platforms such as public website, employee site, med staff newsletter, med exec update, physician TV lounges, department central page, SharePoint page, and brochures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
