    High School Diploma or GED Required

    Licenses and Certifications
    Non Clinical\AZDL - Driver Licence - Valid And In State Must: (1) be at least 21 years of age and (2) provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license and (3) Have a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles obtained and reviewed by Human Resources. Requires valid Arizona Drivers License and clean Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) Required


    Job Summary
    The Document Specialist I position is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge and providing service as needed for all outgoing, incoming, and inter-departmental mail distribution, digital printing, and reproduction of requests as presented by other departments. Operation of finishing equipment (3-hole drill, bindery, laminating, folder/cutter) providing departments with hospital forms as requested and maintaining Patient Education materials.
    • 1.Process on a daily basis:
      •Incoming, outgoing, and inter-departmental mail by sorting, filing, meter posting, and properly stacking in trays for pick-up by the pre-sort company.
      •All incoming, outgoing and inter-departmental mail will leave the department within the 8-hour day shift.
      •Prepare, sort, and meter bulk mail.
      •Document and compile statistics on incoming and outgoing mail as requested.
    • 2.Process, fill, and deliver all form orders within the day they are requested.
      •Fill and deliver forms order produced by Reprographics within 24-hours receiving no complaints of non-delivery.
      •Receive and check outside vendor orders and deliver within 8-hour shift.
      •In-house forms to be printed on demand.
      •As needed, approve on-line form orders and ensure timely delivery.
      •Required to drive daily, for pick up and deliveries to post office and to other campus and off-campus locations.
    • 3.Operate finishing equipment to complete digital printing jobs.
      •Finishing of all orders in a timely manner on digital equipment including 3-hole punch, laminator, folder machines, GBC binder, booklet maker/collator, cutter, creaser and shrink-wrap machine.
    • 4.Digital printing of document reproduction requests.
      •Prepare digital orders accurately using vendor supplied software tools.
    • 5.Maintain and troubleshoot finishing machines and digital printing equipment within the department.
      •Upon request will be capable of operating and trouble- shooting all pieces of equipment within the department.
      •Equipment downtime will be kept to a minimum.
    • 6.Assist with maintaining equipment needed for digital printing.
      •Track supplies available for digital printing projects.
    • 1.Coordinate all aspects of document reproduction and fulfillment.
      •Work directly with customers providing above average service by responding to client requests, ensuring accuracy, quality of their order, and delivery of orders in a timely manner.
      •Troubleshoot and improve system workflow. Performs other duties as assigned.
