    High School Diploma or GED Required

    Two (2) years in progressively responsible roles within an ambulatory practice, including experience in front and back office duties in a supervisory/lead role Required

    Licenses and Certifications
    Driver License Required
    Fingerprint Clearance Card Required
    Cert or Registrar MA or completion of a MA program that meets the BOMEX training guidelines or completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program. Required


    Job Summary
    The SUPERVISOR-OFFICE-NOAH plans, supervises, trains, and coordinates the activities of office administrative and clinical support (MA/back office) staff. This position will provide systems, support, and implement protocols and processes to meet organizational goals, including, but not limited to productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction. The Supervisor-Office directly supports the Practice Manager and serves as a back-up during the Practice Manager's absence and as is the direct line of supervision for all clinic administrative and clinical support (MA/back office) staff.
    • Supervises the activities of office personnel. Maintains a lead role in performing the tasks of those supervised. Plans, establishes, and revises work assignments and schedules. Assists in interviewing, selecting, and hiring personnel. Completes changes in classification, salary action, promotion, demotion, transfer, and termination. Administers performance evaluation in collaboration with the Practice Manager. Administers staff disciplinary process. Trains employees on practice management software.
    • Manage and assist with overall operation of the office with interaction from the Practice Manager to ensure standardization within the policies and procedures. Develop and maintain front office policies and procedures, informing staff of all updates or changes. Ensures functions in area of responsibility are completed accurately and appropriately. Ensures front office operations meet regulatory guidelines, equipment is in working order and appropriate inventory of supplies is maintained. Maintains physician’s schedules in practice management software.
    • Operates front office areas within budget guidelines and identifies opportunities in cost containment. Provides information and analysis to Practice Manager as needed.
    • Performs Registration, Scheduling, and MA duties as needed.
