    High School Diploma or GED Required

    Three (3) years business office experience in healthcare setting Required


    Job Summary
    The Outpatient Therapy Services Business Operations Supervisor provides leadership for the Outpatient Therapy Services clinics. Coordinates and manages front office related activities, including supervision of non-clinical staff, compliance with policies, procedures and regulations, as well as supporting financial performance goals. Ensures high levels of productivity, customer service, and patient satisfaction. Assesses the effectiveness of and compliance to departmental policies, procedures and protocols.
    • Responsible for the supervision of the front office staff and operations for multiple outpatient therapy services clinics. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and processes. Leads staff, prioritizes and revises work assignments and schedules accordingly to meet adequate staffing levels. Monitors work for effectiveness and productivity. Meets regularly with leadership to maintain open communication and problem solve. Reviews timesheets for all clinic staff.
    • Ensures appropriate customer service, counsels patients regarding financial responsibilities, answers patient questions, addresses and resolves patient complaints. Communicates with insurance companies regarding denials and appeals. Resolves the more difficult problems that arise in the clinic.
      Manages and oversees daily clinic operations including requisition, maintenance, and inventory of clinic equipment and supplies. Implements process improvements.
    • Assists Manager in hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing employees ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.
    • Assists Manager in preparing financial reporting. Supports management in meeting annual operational and capital budget objectives. Monitors variance against the budget on an ongoing basis.
    • Articulates and models vision, values, team norms and service behaviors to staff. Ensures compliance with appropriate payor, local, state and federal agencies regulations and guidelines.
    • Provides office staff training and promotes effective communication and information flow in the clinic.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
