    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited institution, or a Bachelor’s Degree in an accounting, business or a science discipline. Required

    5 years progressive with clinical research operations experience. Required
    3 years financial experience including contract negotiation and budget development experience. Knowledge of reimbursement rules and regulations governing standard of care and research billing. Required


    Job Summary
    The Supervisor of Research Project Management is an integral member of the management team, coordinating the daily operations and assignments for the HonorHealth Research Institute (HRI) clinical project management and contract administration (CPMCA) team. This individual will assist the CPMCA team in further developing the size and scope of clinical research at HonorHealth. This position works collaboratively with the leadership team, providers, service lines, supply chain, vendors, sponsors, legal and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant operations for the intensive mission of the Research Institute. The Supervisor and assigned CPMCA team is responsible for project managing research business development, clinical trials (inclusive of budget and contract negotiations and maintenance) and other business projects throughout the lifespan of the projects.
    • Provides active project management to support multi-disciplinary research projects and clinical trials. Performs quality assurance of work produced by the CPMCA team, inclusive of project planning tools, standard work, budgets, contracts and clinical trial management system builds and maintenance. Identifies CPMCA team project issues and alerts senior management with a solution oriented approach to issue resolution.
    • Supervises personnel assigned. Plans, establishes and revises work assignments and schedules. Administers performance evaluations in collaboration with the Manager. Independently administers staff discipline through the second stage (written); participates with management in following stages. Participates in interviews for research staff. Contributes to the recruitment and retention of talented staff through positive role-modeling, fostering peer relationships, staff education and participating in mentoring thereby creating an environment for collaboration and quality.
    • Serves as a resource to others, including staff, sponsors, physicians, and visitors. Facilitates inter/intra departmental collaboration, communications and promotes problem solving across organization.
    • Assumes responsibility for their role in achieving/maintaining financial health of the organization by utilizing all resources effectively and efficiently. Recommends changes. Edits and/or approves time and attendance via automated payroll process.
    • Provides input into the short and long-term goals of the department and supports structure and processes for improvement. Assist in the creation of business development proposals by supplying related information and costs. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
