ULTRASOUND TECH- (PER DIEM)

Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs ultrasound diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned. Performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package. Staff member may be required to provide coverage at various locations in the network.
EDUCATION: Completion of an ARDMS-accredited Ultrasound training program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: ARDMS Board Eligible and Registered ARDMS credentials to include US physics and one additional registry examination in Abdomen, OB, or Breast must be obtained no later than 12 months after their hire date/transfer date and Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider course.
