    Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related field Required

    Experience
    2 years public speaking Required
    3 years volunteer related experience in non-profits, community health, public health or other healthcare related field. Required

    Responsibilities

    Job Summary
    Responsible for developing and coordinating the Volunteer Services department's education and outreach programs through collaboration and in partnership with Business Leadership. Is a liaison with various community organizations while sharing alignment with HonorHealth's corporate culture and business initiatives. Supports a collaborative role for each Volunteer campus, encouraging engagement from current and new volunteers.
    • Designs, implements and evaluates education and recruitment programs based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of volunteers within the HonorHealth community and as related to the identified volunteer initiatives.
    • In collaboration with internal departments and community partners, plans, develops, implements and evaluates ongoing volunteer education for current active volunteers in various age groups (teens, college, adult). Ensures programs and opportunities implemented support the engagement, retention, and recruitment and growth and expansion of volunteers across the Network.
    • Identifies and develops relationships with community partners, high schools, colleges, faith-based organizations, retirement communities, etc. to engage in education and awareness programs for HonorHealth as a recruitment for volunteer services; demonstrates leadership in community and professional organizations. Markets volunteer services to these stakeholders and provides positive customer relations by maintaining regular communication via in person meetings, telephone, email, and site visits.
    • Collaborates with HonorHealth Marketing to ensure promotional materials and website are engagement driven. Remains knowledgeable on Volunteer opportunities at HonorHealth and creatively works with departments to develop services that meet the community need. Serves as liaison to partner organizations; provides facility and service area tours as needed.
    • Assist campus staff in development of and training for a train-the-trainer program whereby they can ensure more consistent training of new volunteers to various service areas.
